The Tec 50 Trimix course is your certification to dive with any trimix blend, including hypoxic mixes, to depths beyond 50 metres. This is the top level of the PADI Tec Deep program, opening up the ability to plan and execute extended, staged decompression dives using multiple helium-oxygen gas mixtures.

You’ll refine your skills in deep dive planning, gas management, emergency handling, and mission-level execution — giving you the competence and confidence to dive in remote or overhead environments.

 

🎯 What You’ll Learn

✅ Plan and execute deep decompression dives beyond 50m using hypoxic trimix
✅ Use up to 2 decompression gases, including 100% oxygen
✅ Advanced emergency protocols and dive team coordination
✅ Gas density, thermal exposure, oxygen toxicity, and decompression stress management

📋 Course Requirements

  • PADI Tec 45 certification

  • Minimum 100 logged dives, including deep and decompression experience

  • Previous experience with trimix (Tec 45 Trimix recommended)

  • Minimum age: 18

  • Medical clearance within the last 12 months

🗓️ Course Duration

In Phuket, Thailand, it typically takes 4–5 days, depending on dive conditions and student performance
